How to import a SCORM quiz into SAP Litmos

Cloud LMS common in mid-market compliance training. SAP Litmos supports SCORM 1.2 — SwiftSCORM's standard export format — so a knowledge-check quiz built from your training materials imports in a few clicks and reports scores straight to the gradebook.

Step by step

  1. Open the course (or create one) and click 'Add Module'.
  2. Choose 'Upload SCORM' (older Litmos versions may show a combined 'SCORM/xAPI' option — the exact label varies by version).
  3. Upload the SwiftSCORM .zip and let Litmos process it.
  4. Set the module to required and enable 'Use score from SCORM' in module settings.
  5. Preview, then assign to teams as usual.

Good to know

Litmos shows the SCORM score in module results and marks completion from the package's passed/failed status.

LMS interfaces evolve — if a label has moved in a recent SAP Litmos release, the flow stays the same: add content → choose SCORM → upload the zip → enable score tracking.
