How to import a SCORM quiz into Absorb LMS

Mid-market/enterprise cloud LMS. Absorb LMS supports SCORM 1.2 — SwiftSCORM's standard export format — so a knowledge-check quiz built from your training materials imports in a few clicks and reports scores straight to the gradebook.

Step by step

  1. In the admin portal, go to Courses → Online Courses → Add Online Course.
  2. Under Syllabus, add a Learning Object → 'Third Party Lesson' → upload the SwiftSCORM .zip.
  3. Choose SCORM as the type if prompted (Absorb auto-detects from the manifest).
  4. Set completion criteria to the lesson's pass status.
  5. Publish and enroll a test learner to confirm gradebook reporting.

Absorb supports SCORM 1.2 packages as third-party lessons and tracks score, status, and time per attempt.

LMS interfaces evolve — if a label has moved in a recent Absorb LMS release, the flow stays the same: add content → choose SCORM → upload the zip → enable score tracking.
