Convert a Word document to SCORM: with the quiz written for you

Policy handbooks, SOPs, onboarding guides: most workplace knowledge lives in Word documents, and most compliance requirements need proof that employees actually read and understood them. That proof is a graded knowledge check in the LMS. SwiftSCORM turns your .docx directly into that artifact: it reads the document (including tables), writes application-level questions with explanations, and exports a SCORM 1.2 package whose scores land in your LMS gradebook.

Built for the compliance use case

Set the mastery score (70/80/90%), and the package reports pass/fail plus the numeric score and session time via the SCORM runtime, exactly the audit trail HR and safety officers need. Question types are multiple choice and true/false, with an editor to adjust anything before export.

Formats and systems

Input: .docx, .pptx, .pdf, .txt, .md. Output: a SCORM 1.2 zip, a widely supported e-learning format, with step-by-step import guides for Moodle, TalentLMS, Docebo, Cornerstone, SAP Litmos, Absorb, LearnUpon, and Blackboard. The exporter is tested with an independent local SCORM runtime; verification on external LMSs and SCORM Cloud is still in progress, so test the import in your own LMS first.

Why not just use ChatGPT?

ChatGPT writes decent questions, and then you spend an hour formatting them into something an LMS can actually grade and track, which it can't produce. The SCORM packaging (manifest, runtime API calls, score reporting) is the part that takes the time, and it's the part SwiftSCORM automates completely.
