How to import a SCORM quiz into Cornerstone

Enterprise talent and learning suite. Cornerstone supports SCORM 1.2 — SwiftSCORM's standard export format — so a knowledge-check quiz built from your training materials imports in a few clicks and reports scores straight to the gradebook.

Step by step

  1. Open Content Uploader (Admin → Tools → Learning → Content Uploader).
  2. Drag the SwiftSCORM .zip into the uploader. If a Provider field appears, pick your organization's default content provider (ask your Cornerstone admin if you're unsure).
  3. Map the training to the right subject/availability as your catalog requires.
  4. Publish — Cornerstone creates an Online Course object from the package.
  5. Verify via a proxy learner that score and completion register on the transcript.

Good to know

Cornerstone ingests SCORM 1.2 through the Content Uploader. If your portal restricts uploads to admins with the Content Uploader permission, your LMS admin runs step 1.

LMS interfaces evolve — if a label has moved in a recent Cornerstone release, the flow stays the same: add content → choose SCORM → upload the zip → enable score tracking.
